Case Profile – Beauty Osagie

Beauty was born on the 23rd of March, 1981 at Benin City, in the then Bendel State. She came to Lagos from Benin with a neighbor at the age of 18 in the year 1999 under the pretense of sending her to a school in Lagos. Left at the mercy of pimps and prostitutes at the brothel, she was lured into prostitution. She had no other choice other than to join the bandwagon until she met with Christ in the year 2000 through a fellowship organized by Jordan Ministries holding at the brothel. After spending a year with Jordan Ministries, she came in contact with Alabaster Oil Ministries.

On getting to Alabaster Oil, she was enrolled to take a six-month course in Computer Appreciation and Desktop Publishing. Thereafter, she proceeded to Mrs. Uche Majekodunmi’s Newton and David for a course in Floral Arrangement. In her fifth month at Newton and David, she left for Benin where she spent four years. On getting to Benin, she opted to go back to secondary to complete her SSCE with Alabastar Oil paying her bills.

With the assistance of Alabaster Oil, she sat for the SSCE and NECO coming out with six credits, two passes and seven credits; one pass respectively. Thereafter she started seeking admission into various universities or polytechnics, after several futile attempts she came back to Lagos in November, 2007.

Back in Lagos, she was enrolled with Funmi Ajila’s Regalia to learn Fashion Designing but she stopped this after spending a month at the place.

Now 27, Alabastar Oil is taking her to Hair Solutions where we hope she can be trained as a professional hair stylist under the tutelage of Mrs. Susan Adefarasin.

All the while she has been living in our hostel situated somewhere in Ikosi, Magodo area of Lagos State. Strong-willed, neat, cheerful and easily angered, she prays and hopes God would break through this wall of defense and make of her a woman of His passion.
